DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES
Responding to the existing gap in educational services and aware of the advancements made in the field of communication technology, the College launched its Distance Education Unit, in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in 2008 - 2009. The College also has a web based student teacher interface that allows an exchange of dialogue and information online, which was added with an aim to broaden the reach of the courses to students, social workers, activists and welfare officers around the country. The Programme provides self learning materials, strongly supported by multimedia learning packages and internet based pedagogy which are strengths of IGNOU and at the same time, regular contact sessions, workshops, Guest Lectures, Online Learning Portals, guidance by course counselor through direct interaction, telephone and email are unique features of the Distance Education Unit of the College of Social Work.
The Distance Education Unit of the College announces admission to the (mentioned) part time, value added programs via distance learning commencing July 2012. The application forms are available at Extension Center, Goregaon on payment of Rs. 100/- The last date of admission for batch June 2012 is 25th June 2012

Contact Sessions:
Contact sessions will be conducted for approximately 9 hours per week (alternate Sundays for full day or half days on all Saturdays)
