Student Life

Though almost all activities of the College revolve around social issues and human rights, inequality and justice, life in the College is not only about work. There is a lot of fun and games as well!

An active Students' Council finds time to organize activities for all every Wednesday. There are cultural activities, including common celebrations of various festivals and important national days, as well as inter-class and solo music and dance competitions.

The Sports Committee organizes indoor sports all throughout the year, with a grand finale of various sporting events on the Sports Day in December.

At times, films are screened or skits are enacted ending in panel discussions where experts are invited.

Student life is thus full of varied activities and programmes culminating in College Day held in January. The class that has won the highest number of awards and prizes throughout the academic session is awarded the trophy for the ‘Best Class’!
